Harshita Garg | Built a design career from one logo she designed during covid

During Covid, Harshita Garg was posting design experiments on Instagram when a friend asked for a logo. One logo became more projects, a master’s degree, and a career she never sat down to plan.

The work she does now, finding cultural and human insights, shaping them into branding and visual systems, suits her.

But getting here had its uncomfortable moments. She once accepted an illustration project that felt slightly beyond her, spent three nights storyboarding at 3am, and came out the other side with one of her favoarite pieces of work.

She’s also lost clients for being too honest about bad design decisions. It stings, but she hasn’t stopped being honest.

What she’s most proud of is simpler than any single project. People kept coming back because they trusted her thinking.
