For Gourav Sutradhar, that decision came during his second year of engineering, when he stepped away from the traditional path to follow something that called to him louder than code ever could: visual storytelling.

What began as hobbyist content turned into a deeper calling: merging photography, cinematography, and design into compelling visual narratives. From early freelance gigs to social media fashion content, he built a portfolio that spoke volumes not just about his creativity, but his persistence.
“I had to prove myself through work, not a degree,” Gourav recalls. “That made me hungrier. More committed.”
And it worked.
Today, he leads a 25+ member video operations team for a US-based publisher delivering AI-enhanced, multilingual content at scale. One of his proudest milestones? Spearheading the Rizzle Project at Movate. With a cross-cultural team spanning India and the US, Gourav produced high-impact videos in both English and Spanish, pushing creative and technological boundaries while ensuring cultural resonance.
His superpower lies in transforming complex ideas into powerful, engaging visuals. With over 9 years of experience, he’s worked with top brands like Manyavar, Physics Wallah, and Bewakoof blending creative direction, cutting-edge tools, and a deep understanding of storytelling to deliver content that not only captures attention, but converts.
Despite the challenges from non-traditional beginnings to fast-evolving tech, Gourav’s belief has remained constant: that creativity, curiosity, and courage can take you further than credentials ever could.
